Good hotel, the restaurant is closed due to corona. Room clean, good and free WiFi. Breakfast excellent.

Were eating here for the first time yesterday and loved it. The food was delicious and the service was great. They are very friendly and attentive. Simply indescribable. On our next vacation we will definitely come back to eat here. We really enjoyed the evening with you.

Inhospitable reception. Very unfriendly. The soup didn't come, the receipt was lost. After 1 hour there was the main course. The reason: we still have a small wedding party, what you see are not all guests. Then to the bill. The menu says Bitter Lemon 0.25l for € 3.50. But you only get a 0.2 l bottle. It will remain for us on this one visit.

Very nice family hotel in the style of the Black Forest in the middle of a small village. Comfortable and spacious room (downside for the carpet). A nice menu for the restaurant, quality dishes and well served, except that we had to wait 1:30 to have our main course.The waitress warned us that there would be a bit of a wait but, despite an aperitif and a little forcing so that we take an entry, the waiting time is unacceptable ... Nice terrace and the place is quiet. A very good breakfast. Good value for money.

Eaten super delicious

We have been coming to the hotel regularly for more than ten years and enjoy the family atmosphere and the very friendly and professional service. The kitchen is excellent. In the hotel and restaurant we have a very good feeling and feel very comfortable even in times of Corona, all rules of the Corona regulation are meticulously observed.

Super friendly and super delicious food

Today after the long lockdown we enjoyed another great meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff, good cuisine, very familiar and quiet atmosphere. You just feel good there and can really enjoy your stay. Looking forward to the next time

93rd birthday of my grandma, champagne reception, lunch, coffee and cake I brought with me Absolutely recommendable all round! The food was great, the service staff super friendly and attentive, and the kitchen implemented every special request (intolerance, etc.) without any problems.

Top hotel with good restaurant. Reasonable prices

I had a lovely stay in this Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help. The food was simply divine, and I had one of the best nights of sleep I have had in a while. Breakfast was spectacular, with a huge selection of regional dishes, and homemade jam. The hotel is situated in a beautiful small village, and Gengenbach is only a twenty minute walk away. The environment is incredibly peaceful, and even the church bells right next door weren't disturbing. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a quiet stay with friends or family and just wants to get away from all the hassle of ordinary life.

This is a hotel to go if you want to feel like at home.

Great hotel, clean big rooms. Large parking in front of the door. I can not rate breakfast. Price performance is completely correct. A restaurant inside. I would like to come again

Very nice building. Pleasant welcome, large and comfortable room, good food in the restaurant and plenty of parking. Would give it 5 stars but I could not get any internet access via the hotel WiFi. The signal was so weak, -89dB, some devices would not connect at all and those that did, could not access the internet. Perhaps other rooms were better.

Beautiful hotel with good room sizes and cost benefit ratio on the breakfast but that is about it. We have just spent 5 nights and felt they really wanted us around which is at minimum weird in a hospitality business. I was mistreated once because "we left the keys at the reception..." sorry for my misconception/ misunderstanding as I thought receptions were also for that. Make sure to confirm the breakfast many times and to different people, we were asked to do that multiple times but certainly not enough as at the last day we were told we have not done so. Not a single concern about serving us... Altogether there are plenty of places elsewhere in cities that have actually more to be seen and done.
